In the last week of my Foundation Fellowship for entrepreneurs I was invited to do a skill share presentation organized by staff.

I shared how community business, is good business and this is achieved by understanding the power of building bridges in the ecosystems we live and do business in.

Shared some 5 Tribe successes and tips to help other entrepreneurs and had a blast!

📚✨ A project months in the making is finally here!

The youth of 5 Tribe Vending proudly installed their new *Book Ark*, a community lending library made possible through their 2026 MLK Day of Service experience.

At 5 Tribe Vending, we believe workforce development starts long before a young person enters the workforce. Building career-ready youth means strengthening both technical and soft skills, and literacy is at the foundation of it all. Strong reading, communication, and comprehension skills help young people succeed in school, navigate opportunities, and confidently engage in the workforce of tomorrow.

This Book Ark provides free books for our neighbors while encouraging a love of reading, lifelong learning, and skill-building for future success.

We're incredibly grateful to and Campbell Bird for providing the volunteer-built Book Ark and to for filling it with books for our community.

A vending machine can be more than convenience — it can be a learning tool. 💡🥤

At 5 Tribe Vending, we use vending machines as a hands-on way to introduce youth to entrepreneurship, financial literacy, workforce readiness, and career exploration.

We are currently looking for schools, businesses, and community partners for the summer and upcoming school year.

Not every pitch ends with a prize… but every experience brings growth. 💡✨

This weekend, the 5 Tribe family stepped out, shared our vision, and participated in the Pitch Competition at the 2nd Annual Business Summit & Expo. While we didn’t take home a prize, we gained something just as valuable, lessons in telling our story, engaging in the process, building confidence, and expanding our network. 🤝

We’re grateful for our pitch coach who poured into the participants, every entrepreneur who inspired us, and every family member and friend who showed up to support the 5 Tribe family along the journey. Your encouragement means everything. ❤️

Part of sustained , sustaining a entrepreneurial mindset is showing up and staying open to learning.
