Cohort 4 Applications Are Now Open!

Our Find Your Power Solar Academy is a paid, entry-level training program based in North Philly, designed for individuals impacted by gun violence or reentry who are ready to build a new path. No construction experience? No problem.

Starts September 14, 2026.
- Learn hands-on skills
- Earn industry certifications
- Get guidance on securing your driver's license (a must if you want to be considered for internships after the program)

We're proud to share that 19 of 22 trainees in 2025 completed the program, and nearly all were offered internships.

Solar States is proud to help power Elmwood Park Zoo with 449 solar panels projected to generate 350,000+ kWh annually while saving $30K+ each year. Visit us at the Zoo tomorrow, May 2, at their Party for the Planet event from 10:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.!

Thrilled to share our 2025 POWER REPORT, a 32-page journey to the center of the Solar States universe! Here's a preview. The full report can be found at www.solar-states.com/2025-power-report/.

In 2025, we trained 132 students, brought on 27 interns, and hired 10 full-time employees — expanding our workforce development programs into Chester County and Harrisburg. Our crews completed nearly 300 installations, including a stretch where we packed a full year's worth of solar into just three months. We lobbied in DC, rallied at City Hall, and when policy changes opened the floodgates, we answered — working nights and weekends to meet the moment. After 18 years, we're just getting started!
