🔥 Prescribed Fire Complete 🔥

It turned out to be a great day to complete this 67-acre site prep. As soon as the sun broke through the clouds we had just the right fire behavior. Great job by the fire crew!

This Coosa WMA tract is one of the most unique tracts we work on. It’s about an hour drive from the nearest civilization, but the old growth Long Leaf is gorgeous. This tract has both natural and artificial RCW cavities that we had to protect prior to dropping fire.

Today, the CFM Fire Managers crew successfully completed a 134-acre growing season prescribed fire 🔥 here in Alabama. After all the dry/wet stretches lately, we had an amazing burn day and the results did not disappoint. This burn represents a critical step in implementing the landowner’s long-term vision for their property. It’s a privilege to be part of that process.
