CALL FOR PAPERS: Engineering Management Review, “Automation & Control-Driven Sustainability in Manufacturing and Production Management.” Automation and control-driven technologies are transforming manufacturing and production systems, and their integration with sustainability principles is now essential to meet ambitious climate and circularity targets.

This Special Issue invites contributions that explicitly demonstrate how advanced control, optimization, and automation architectures can accelerate the transition towards zero-carbon, circular, and regenerative production across sectors.

New in TEMS Engineering Management Review, “Navigating Innovation Processes with Integration of Artificial Intelligence,” by Başak Çetingüç and Eyüp Çalık. The authors introduce a practical framework for the integration of into the innovation landscape.

Collaboratively developed through consultations with scholars from diverse disciplines and industry professionals, the framework offers a practical guide for innovation leaders seeking to navigate the complex terrain of AI technologies. This study introduces a conceptual framework that illustrates the impact of AI technologies on the stages of the innovation process based on the specific benefits they intend to achieve. Focused on the key aspects of the innovation process, including idea generation, idea selection, project design and implementation, and commercialization, the framework highlights specific AI technologies—such as natural language processing, image processing, and analytics—with the aim of achieving fundamental objectives: enhancing workforce efficiency, reducing costs, saving time, and improving quality.
