We partner with leading brands such as Crossville Tile, Florida Tile, Atlas Concorde, Bostik, Schluter, and Laticrete to provide a wide range of high-quality products including tile, hardwood, engineered hardwood, vinyl, waterproofing materials, and setting materials.
We are seeking a driven and personable Territory Manager to cover parts of PA, WV and OH. This role is ideal for someone with strong relationships in the flooring industry who enjoys building connections, solving problems, and driving results.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with Fierst Distributing’s customers within the assigned territory
• Promote Fierst Distributing’s full product lineup to customers
• Deliver product presentations and technical information regarding our full line of product offerings
• Actively build and manage partnerships with commercial contractors
• Collaborate with architectural firms to ensure products meet design intent and project requirements
• Provide budgetary quotes and support clients with samples and technical resources
• Research market trends, analyze client needs, and identify opportunities for growth
• Represent the company at industry events and trade shows
• Understand competitive products and position Fierst offerings effectively
• Manage sales tools, samples, and customer resources to ensure availability
• Travel locally and occasionally overnight as required
• Perform additional duties as needed to support the sales team
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of industry-related experience
• Proven sales, presentation, and negotiation skills
• Strong problem-solving abilities and customer-focused mindset
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• Intermediate computer proficiency
• Valid driver’s license
• Be able to lift 30+ lbs.
• Be able to sit for extended periods of driving time.
• A reliable vehicle.
