Today, Free Geek honors Indigenous Peoples’ Day and celebrates the histories, cultures, leadership, and living communities of Indigenous peoples.

Our work toward a more equitable, sustainable future includes expanding access to technology and caring for the resources we share. Today and throughout the year, we encourage our community to listen to Indigenous voices, learn from Indigenous perspectives, and support Indigenous led organizations and businesses.

🎉 We’ve reached 90% of our goal!

Thanks to 128 generous donors, Free Geek has raised $135,060 toward our $150,000 Powering the Next Chapter campaign goal—leaving just $14,940 to go!

A huge thank-you to our partners at Marie Lamfrom for helping us move closer to the finish line. We’re also grateful to KOIN AM Extra and XRAY.FM for giving us opportunities this month to spread the word about our move.

We’re incredibly grateful to everyone helping Free Geek build our new home and expand access to technology throughout our community. We’ll reopen our new space to the public during the second half of October, and we can’t wait to share this exciting new chapter with our community!

Free Geek was proud to sponsor our partner Latino Network’s Noche Bella Gala at the Portland Art Museum!

This year’s celebration marked Latino Network’s 30th anniversary—a milestone for the organization and the communities it serves. We were grateful to join an evening honoring three decades of connection and impact, and looking ahead to a future full of joy, love, and possibility. Congratulations, Latino Network, on 30 years! 💛
