We strive to keep our apartment safe by sanitizing and disinfecting everywhere possible. We also provide sanitizing spray for your use. The Kitchen and Dining Room:
The kitchen is fully equipped. Utensils, dishes, soap
, kitchen linens, and a drip coffee maker with ground coffee. Tea and sweeteners are also provided. The table seats four. The table extends to seat six and six chairs are in the apartment. If you need something that's not supplied, let us know and we'll let you borrow it from our house, if we have it. Supplies:
All linens are provided, along with paper-towels, toilet paper, hand soap, bath soap and disinfectant spray. Being located in the country, we operate an aerobic septic system. Please do not flush anything except the supplied toilet paper down the commode. Specifically, please do not flush feminine products or "flushable" wipes as these might damage the system. A trash can with extra liners is provided for these items. Conveniences:
Ductless A/C and Heat pump wall units with remote controllers. The bedroom closet provides space to hang clothes and shelves for folded clothes, along with floor space and shelves for suitcases, etc. The full bathroom features a large shower with a built-in seat. A hairdryer is provided. The pantry shelves offer a place to put any food that you bring along. Our TV is connected to an aerial antenna, and receives channels from Dallas and Tyler. We also have a small DVD player and several movies, or you may bring your own. PROPERTY POLICIES:
Check-in is at 4 p.m. and Check-out is at 12 p.m. on the date of departure. Cancellations are handled by your referral site. Maximum capacity is four adults*. Sleeping accommodations include one full-size bed in the bedroom and a short (RV-type) queen sleeper-sofa in the living room. We also provide a twin air mattress. *(capacity is negotiable if your party has one or two adults with more than two young children)
Camp Nieman is in a wooded area where dangers such as wildlife, insects, burns, and falls, among others, exist. Therefore, you are expected to take precautions to prevent accidents, injuries or damage to you, your guests and your personal property. Camp Nieman strives to maintain a safe environment, but we are not responsible nor liable for such dangers. Campfires:
Wood is provided for fires in the campfire pit. However, if Hunt County has issued a Burn Ban, we will notify you that no campfires are allowed. A cigarette-butt can is located at the campfire circle. Picnic Area:
Adjacent to the park grill and picnic table, a small storage building holds everything you will need to cook out -- charcoal, lighter, lighter fluid, utensils, trash can, ash shovel and table coverings. A cigarette-butt can is located at the picnic table. NOTICES:
1. PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES - Smoking (inside apartment or on deck/stairs), Pets, Parties/Events, Fireworks, Fires (except in campfire pit), Hunting/Shooting, Dirt bikes or other gasoline-powered off-road vehicles.
2. A trash can with extra liners is provided for these items.
3. We do not insure any personal property, but the gate at the top of the stairs can be locked and the deadbolt can be locked at night from the inside.
