We're celebrating a BIG milestone with Jamie Hager! 🌟

Our co-owner and Green Building Specialist, Jamie Hager, has officially reached 20 years at SEM. Jamie’s passion for building science is equally matched by her love of people, and she has built her career at SEM focusing on both.

She learned building from the ground up over the years working as construction supervisor, green building programs manager, HERS Rater educator as well as served on green building councils and planning boards. We are so grateful for the energy and expertise she brings to her seats and look forward to many more years of impact!

The clock is ticking on commercial solar tax credits.

Here’s what to know:

July 4, 2026 is the deadline to begin construction and preserve current incentives through safe harboring.

December 31, 2027 is when projects typically need to be completed if they do not meet that deadline.

Projects that safe harbor may have extended timelines, with potential completion through 2030 while maintaining eligibility.
