Our K9 hero- THOR. Last fall a growth appeared on his lower gum. Dr. Sims at Tara Animal Hospital surgically removed it, but it quickly grew back. It was determined to be a cancerous plasma cell tumor that had invaded his lower jaw bone. Dr. Czuba, a veterinary dentist, referred us to Thrive Pet Oncology where Thor underwent three days of intense radiation treatment by Dr. Randhawa. Yesterday was his third session and he proudly graduated. Hopefully this will completely eradicate the tumor and our 10yo boy will live out the rest of his life, with his handler Krista, comfortably and happy. WAY TO GO THOR ❤️

Meet Radar- the newest member of our team. He is a 5 month old Belgian Malinois and someone turned him over to a shelter because they couldn’t handle him. He is brilliant and will start his training on explosive odor in a couple of months. Until then, manners, obedience, and love..(oh and lots of structured play) ❤️
