Last month, the Leadership Greater Rochester class wrapped up their final session, “Launching Leaders,” at Eagle Bluff Environmental Learning Center. Participants reflected on their LGR journey alongside their cohort through an affirmation activity, explored strengths-based leadership with Bethany von Steinbergs of Flourish Consulting, learned more about serving on a Board of Directors, created action plans and goals for their future career paths, and celebrated their leadership growth together through team-building activities and the treetops high ropes course.

From personal reflection activities and leadership development to a community impact panel featuring LGR alumni, this session is designed to challenge, inspire, and prepare participants for their next chapter as leaders in our community. A huge thank you to our session planning committee and speakers for creating a memorable final LGR session for this year’s class!

When life gave them lemons, they made lemonade... and built businesses!🍋

More than 580 young entrepreneurs registered for Lemonade Day - Rochester Area MN, learning how to create, budget, and market their very own businesses! Then, on Saturday, June 6, they put those skills into action by opening lemonade stands throughout the community.

The Chamber had a sweet time visiting stands and seeing the creativity, confidence, and hard work of these young business owners on display. Thank you to everyone who stopped by a stand, purchased lemonade, and supported the next generation of entrepreneurs!
