7 Things to Check on Your Feeder

A little routine maintenance can help keep your feeder running properly and ensure your wildlife has a consistent food source. Before your next fill-up, check these important areas:

1. Battery & Solar Panel
Check the battery voltage, make sure all connections are secure, and clean any dust, dirt, or debris from the solar panel so it can charge efficiently.

2. Motor & Timer
Test the motor and timer to make sure the feeder is operating at the correct times and dispensing feed properly. Replace worn or malfunctioning parts as needed.

3. Spinner Plate
Remove any built-up feed, dirt, or debris. Make sure the spinner plate is clean, balanced, and spinning freely.

4. Electrical Connections
Inspect all wiring and connections for looseness, corrosion, or damage. Secure and repair anything that could affect performance.

5. Feed Hopper
Clean out old, wet, or caked feed to help prevent clogs, mold, and uneven feed flow.

6. Feeder Structure
