When Adam from Perch W**e Company asked us to be part of this years Perch Fest, we knew exactly what project we wanted to do.
We asked local designer artists Benjamin Hunt Meg Myers and Block and Bowl Woodworks to create a vase in their respective style. Once they created their piece we then asked serena madrigal to respond to each piece in a floral arrangement for each piece in her style.
Together they are one of a kind pieces that will be sold during Perchfest at Canon this Sunday, November 1st from 12-5pm.

Vestigio — a trace left behind.

A reflection on the weight we carry: memories, experiences, and lives lived. An exploration of what we choose to release and what we hold onto, as we continue moving forward, forever shaped by time, and what we choose to hold onto, or release.

Stoneware that has been slip cast, and layered with porcelain, once it come out of the glaze fire, we then chip away at some of the layered porcelain to con cover what it is protecting 💙

Red No. 1 🌹
As of late we’ve been learning how a red object can be tricky to place, it needs to be purposeful, to be loud, and demands to be seen. With this horse we were accepting two loud variables when making it- a shiny glaze and a bold red color.
Our past colors have become more pastel with a matte/ semi-gloss and as of late we have been wanting to be seen. Red is bold, sassy, it demands to be seen, and makes a statement. Here’s to shining ✨
