Legalese Attorney Service, Inc. was formed in 1978 when its founder decided that a business in attorney services and litigation support might be more personally interesting than the traditional practice of law. The name “Legalese” was chosen for two reasons, both entirely consistent with its general meaning:

(1) “Legalese” is the often-complicated language of the legal profession, and the aim was to convey the idea that we do in fact speak the language. (2) The second reason was born of the typical frustration that can occur when accounting too much “legalese,” conveying the idea that, although we can speak legalese, we also endeavor to simplify legalese to a plain language. COURT RUNNER/PROCESS SERVER (Sacramento)

Legalese Attorney Service, LLC, is in search of the right person to join our team as a court runner/process server. Legalese is growing and in need of a hard working and diligent individual.

Our runners and process servers are employed, while, other process serving companies hire independent contractors to serve their legal documents, Legalese, prefers to hire process servers as employees. This allows our servers to work at an hourly rate and all of their taxes are taken care of on their paycheck. Legalese prefers to hire individuals with little to no experience with process serving. However, a sharp mind and professionalism are a must.

Legalese, was founded in 1978, by a man with a knack for coordinating and training process servers to ensure the most effective form of service. He was able to take a person with no experience and teach them the correct way to serve legal documents.

We, believe in training our process servers from the bottom up. While, Legalese, won't turn someone away with some court running process serving experience, Legalese welcomes those with no experience. If you're into trying something new and would like to try out the legal field this could be a great start for you.

This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday from 9am-4pm. PTO/SICK/HOLIDAY PAY

JOB REQUIREMENTS

*A RELIABLE AND ECONOMICAL VEHICLE

*FULL-COVERAGE INSURANCE (PROOF OF)

*VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE (PROOF OF VALIDITY)

*PROCESS SERVER REGISTRATION *not needed prior to hiring* *will discuss at interview*

This position starts at $15.00, an hour and paid federal mileage reimbursement. Currently mileage is $.56 a mile.
