At Duperon, corporate training is about more than professional development — it’s about building stronger teams and communities.

During our Annual Corporate Training on June 3, the Duperon team partnered with The Leaders Institute for a hands-on team-building experience focused on collaboration, communication, and leadership while giving back to the community. Through the Build-A-Bike® program, our team worked together to build 11 bikes that were donated to CAN Council.

The Leaders Institute has helped provide millions of dollars in donations to families and children in need through its philanthropic team-building programs, and our team truly enjoyed being part of an experience that combined teamwork with community impact.

Supporting CAN Council and the work they do for children and families made this experience even more meaningful, and we were grateful to play a small part in helping build safe, supportive communities for children.

Fresh air, fast paws, and a great cause!

On Saturday, May 2, Team Duperon hit the trails at the Great Lakes Bay Animal Society Fast & Furriest 5K Run/Walk at Midland City Forest—joined by a few four-legged friends along the way. From runners chasing personal bests to walkers enjoying the scenery, it was a great day to get outside, connect as a team, and support an organization doing important work in our community.

This event is all about celebrating the human-animal bond while raising funds to provide quality veterinary care for animals on their journey to forever homes—and we’re honored to be part of it.

A big thank you to Great Lakes Bay Animal Society for organizing such a fun, meaningful event and for the incredible work you do to care for animals in need.

Last week, we welcomed students from Bay-Arenac ISD to Duperon for Skilled Trades Day!

Students in Engineering, Entrepreneurship, and Drafting programs rotated through three sessions focused on entrepreneurship, career pathways at Duperon, and hands-on exposure to our products, drafting, and shop operations. Along the way, they learned about the skills and opportunities available within the water and wastewater industry while connecting with members of our team.
