September is Su***de Prevention Month.
As first responders, we see firsthand the struggles many face. It's a critical time to remember that mental health is just as important as physical health.
You are not alone, and help is available. If you or someone you know is struggling, please reach out.
There are resources ready to offer support, guidance, and hope. Along with 988, which offers 24/7 support through call, text, or online chat, there is also the Trevor Project for those of the LGBTQ+ youth community. As well as the Veterans Crisis Line. All these resources are free and provide 24/7 support.
Let's work together to prevent su***de and promote well-being in our community.
