Today was one of those days where your heart overflows with joy and gratitude because you get to live your WHY!

Thank you to my dear friend and sister Nancy G Allen for the opportunity to share my passion and love with the G100 Global Summit community.

For over 20 years I have been able work with various companies and organizations as an advocate for women and girls on a global scale. ChIPs is another outstanding community with a phenomenal mission, and it is such an honor to serve our members.

The Chief came home the other day and proceeded to tell me the strawberries in her lunch were horrible.

“That’s strange,” I replied. “I had some and thought they were amazing. How many did you try?”

“Just one,” she said.

I jumped in, “Maybe next time you try more than one. Not every strawberry is ready or going to be perfect. Sometimes you have to give things a second chance.”

She kinda gave me the typical 10 yr-old “ok mom” eye roll, but it really got me thinking.

We all know first impressions are very important, however, I can’t tell you how many times I’ve either given someone a second chance or even been given one myself following a not so great first impression.

I have gained some amazing relationships from those 2nd chances.

✨Never forget that someone may be a little off or not ready for you when you first meet them. Sometimes the second chance will reap the sweet reward.
