We’re incredibly grateful to CAL FIRE and San José Fire Department for their rapid response to the Kennedy Fire above our winery on Mount Umunhum yesterday afternoon. Thanks to their quick action, the fire was contained to just an acre.

As we move through fire season, we encourage everyone enjoying our beautiful open spaces to use extra caution. Even a single spark can have serious consequences, and early reports suggest this fire may have been human-caused.

Thank you again to the firefighters who work tirelessly to protect our community, our open spaces, and our homes.
