Wildlife Update! 🦉💫

This orphaned owlet was recently rehabilitated by Pacific Wildlife Care and released at La Lomita Ranch. He now shares the property with another young Great Horned Owl who was rescued after becoming entangled in kite string high in a eucalyptus tree.

Thanks to the expert care of Pacific Wildlife Care—and a little help from our ranch team—both owls are healthy and back in their natural habitat.

La Lomita Ranch provides a haven for an incredible variety of birds and wildlife, making every visit unique. Be sure to bring your binoculars when you book a wine experience—you never know what you might spot 🦅🍷

Join us for a Winemaker’s Dinner with La Lomita Ranch; an unforgettable evening of beautifully paired wines and seasonal cuisine. We begin with a lively reception featuring Becca & Alan VanderHorst, Hawaiian ahi poke, bacon-wrapped dates, and a crisp La Lomita Rosé.

The evening continues with miso-glazed black cod paired with Albariño, wild mushroom & Gruyère tart with Pinot Noir, and a standout Manhattan filet with roasted honey-chili sweet potato alongside bold pours of “Mirabilis” and Grenache.

We finish with a silky white chocolate chip mousse for a perfectly sweet close. A night of crafted pairings, rich flavors, and great wine from start to finish.
