Happy 3rd (but kind of 5th) work anniversary to Carlos Bolaños, our CMO! Carlos worked as a consultant for a couple years prior to joining Stratus full-time and he’s been amazing for our team! He's consistently willing to try new ideas and approaches that help our business development team generate opportunities. Anytime the team brings forward an idea, Carlos is quick to lean in, collaborate, and help think through more effective ways to implement it. He’s usually spinning multiple plates at once and yet he’s immediately ready to provide an answer or create a marketing piece as though he’s on rapid fire speed. But even as he comes up with ideas, Carlos is willing to stop, listen, and ask questions to make sure he understands the need or what and how it should be communicated. He’s a great example of a positive doer and we’re grateful to have him. Happy , Carlos!!

Welcome to Cassidy Kovatch, the newest member of our Stratus Benefits Team! Cassidy has a bachelor’s degree from UVU in Human Resource Management and several years’ work experience as a team lead and HR Assistant. She can be bribed with a Dr. Pepper Cream Soda, loves going to concerts and hockey games, and has her own scoring pyramid (complete with mirror/disco ball elements) for contestants on Dancing with the Stars.

Welcome to Ryan McNeilly on our Benefits team!! Ryan has a bachelor’s degree in psychology/business administration from the University of Vermont and is excited to become more well-rounded in the HR world. She’s new to Utah and is open to suggestions of where to explore, preferably with a great hike. (Feel free to leave your suggestions below!) When not engulfed in a good book, Ryan spends her free time volunteering at a local horse rescue – she used to train polo horses through college and loves any opportunity to work with horses.

Happy 23rd work anniversary to Stacey Gibson, our incredible HR Director!! Stacey keeps the office feeling like family; not in a corporate-poster way, but in a "she actually cares about every single person here" way. While she works on big projects and tackles hurdles, it’s her day-to-day attitude, work ethic, and genuine care for others that make her such a stand-out. No matter the situation, Stacey will jump in, get her hands dirty, and is completely supportive of everyone around her. She’s a total doer who takes initiative, never complains, is quick to give someone a boost, and does all she can to ensure our clients and internal employees are happy and thriving. Humble, dependable, positive, and engaged don’t even scratch the surface. If you called her at 2am she would answer, and she even brings in homemade waffles and beignets to share with everyone!
