This was a first for us this year. The Great Lakes froze over during the long, cold winter of 2014 and therefore the ice never melted completely. So we had to fly to Mackinac Island for our annual scrapbooking event!!

We've witnessed so many changes at Grand Hotel during the 26 years I've been hosting retreats there. This most recent renovation is spectacular!

The rockers are being placed on the front porch! And the geraniums are getting planted! (And it gently snowed today) Life is certainly magical at Grand Hotel!!
