Schenectady Restoration Project We’ve purchased a new home in Schenectady’s Stockade — one that dates back to at least the middle of the 1700s. Follow our progress!

It has a ton of character and needs a lot of love.

It's pretty cool to see major TV show shooting (again) a block away in our neighborhood. It's even cooler when it's a historic TV show the likes of The Gilded Age. And even more so that I was able to take these pictures today!

Cleaning off the original basement ceiling boards that were underneath the first-floor floorboards. This is literally 260 years of dust that fell through the cracks. No artifacts were found (except wood shavings).
