Meet the Family Behind Alpine Earthworks!
Hey, Olympic Peninsula! Iâm Landon, and this is my amazing wife, Tris, along with the newest member of our family, our 5-week-old baby girl, Harriet. Together, we own and operate Alpine Earthworks, a small family business proudly serving Sequim, Port Angeles, and the surrounding communities!
Youâve probably seen us around in our trucks, working on job sites, or hauling equipment down the road. But I wanted to take a moment to personally introduce our family and share how Alpine Earthworks got started.
Iâve wanted to operate equipment and own an excavation business ever since I was a kid. I started working in landscaping and trucking at a young age, always with the goal of eventually starting my own business.
Alpine Earthworks began by building gravel pads for sheds using a small tractor. From there, I slowly took on more excavation work and less trucking. The projects kept getting bigger; I bought an excavator, and we continued growing one job at a time.
In the beginning, I took on just about anything. Every project gave me more experience and helped shape Alpine Earthworks into what it is today. We have now narrowed our focus primarily to retaining walls, specializing in boulder walls and large-block retaining walls.
Today, Alpine Earthworks helps property owners tackle challenging projects with honest communication, quality workmanship, and practical solutions built to last. Our services include:
