We recently celebrated the ribbon-cutting of our new Thomas E. Starzl Xenograft Production Facility in Stewartville, Minnesota! This Designated Pathogen Free (DPF) facility will produce our xenotransplantation kidneys and hearts for patients in dire need of these organs. The construction of this facility is a true feat of biotechnology engineering that will help us achieve our goal to help solve the organ shortage crisis.
