How often does a cyberattack happen? 🤔

Careers in Energy Week kicks off today and we're featuring our first “This Is What Public Power Looks Like” career spotlight. At MRES, we’re keeping that conversation going throughout the next year with the campaign introducing the people behind public power. MRES supplies wholesale power and other services to its 61 municipal electric members in South Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa and North Dakota.
First up: Philip Egeberg, managing director of IT and operational technology at Brookings Municipal Utilities. A frustrating computer problem in college sparked his interest in technology. Today, he helps protect the systems behind essential community services.
