Nurse Practitioner - Interventional Pain Management & Personal Injury GA
Extraordinary Staffing is seeking a dedicated and professional Nurse Practitioner to join our client's team, specializing in Interventional Pain Management and Personal Injury care. In this role, you will provide essential medical care and support to our patients, ensuring a high standard of care throughout every step of the patient journey.
Key Responsibilities:
Arrive on time, fully prepared to perform outlined duties in interventional pain management and personal injury cases.
Maintain clean and sanitized patient treatment areas before and after procedures.
Assist during medical procedures by:
Recording patient histories, particularly related to pain management and personal injury.
Ensuring accurate medical records reflect symptoms, treatments, and medications.
Conducting patient intake and gathering relevant information.
Performing routine and detailed medical examinations.
Prescribing medications where appropriate for pain management and injury recovery.
Ordering diagnostic tests and utilizing medical equipment.
Evaluating test results to determine underlying conditions related to pain and injury.
Diagnosing and developing personalized treatment plans.
Educating patients and families on pain management, injuries, and recovery plans.
Collecting samples and performing scientific procedures related to interventional pain management.
Interact with patients compassionately and professionally, especially those dealing with chronic pain and injuries.
Respond to emergencies and notify appropriate personnel of any patient difficulties.
Complete all necessary tasks before the end of the day.
Other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Requirements:
Valid Nurse Practitioner license.
Experience or interest in interventional pain management and personal injury care.
Strong clinical and diagnostic skills.
Excellent communication and patient care abilities.
