Last week we installed this microfast I/A septic system. Had a little bit of water at the bottom of the hole but luckily was 2’ less than the plan said it would be.
Dewatered and installed a 6” base of compacted stone, Installed the tank and its components as well as a UV denitrification light. Due to the location of the new larger tank a new distribution box was needed as well.

Wrapped up this job in Eastham today. Backfilled and infilled, as well as installed 7 precast frost posts. We never claim to be the best, but we try to do our best to set ourselves apart from the rest. Almost every foundation we do whether required by the engineer or not, is infilled with 3/4” stone for better compaction under the concrete slabs. if the soil under the walls is questionable, we will stop and advise the GC and suggest using stone under the footings as well.

Amy has told me I need to get better at before and after pics. She’s not wrong, however I did grab some “during” pics of this small job we did Friday in Wareham. The homeowner saw a job we did across the street and asked us about helping them with the same issue. They had water building up in the street and flooding their yard every time it rained. So we built up a small berm along the street and topped it with screened loam. We scraped out all the old topsoil and vegetation in the area of the driveway and also made it a lot wider. We brought in recycled concrete and spread and compacted it 6-8” thick pitching back towards the road.
