Babbitting Service (BSI) celebrated Manufacturing Month in October by welcoming local high school students to take a tour of the facility and learn about our products, processes, and career opportunities. Kristoffer Farrar, Owner/CEO/President and Jim Morgan, GM shared BSI history and the reason BSI is a successful and thriving organization. Great to partner with and support the Greater Chicago Advanced Manufacturing Partnership, Northern Kane County Region 110, St. Charles Chamber of Commerce Industrial Committee, and the Alignment Collaborative for Education (ACE) on this educational event.

On time completion of one of our latest projects. Our customer needed a complete self leveling Tilt Pad Thrust bearing and our design team & manufacturing facility delivered. This bearing was a BSI design utilizing only the customer specifications and space envelope where the bearing would reside. General size is 31.00 Inch diameter ACTIVE side and 26.00 Inch INACTIVE side.
