The primary difference between a Globe Turnout Gear boot with an Arctic Grip Pro sole and a standard Globe sole is its performance on frozen terrain. The Globe Arctic Grip Pro sole provides double the slip resistance on wet ice compared to a standard sole, while maintaining flexibility in extreme cold.

Developed in collaboration with Vibram, the Arctic Grip Pro sole utilizes integrated polymer fibers that behave like microscopic brushes. This gives the boot traction on slick, wet ice where standard rubber typically slides.
