A lot can change in 10 years. Imagine what you see in 20 or 30.

We've got some people at Gemini who've been here longer than Google has been around, long enough to remember a very different version of this place. Different equipment, different processes, different customers and a lot of changes...

So we asked a few of our longtime team members to tell us what's changed the most.

Their answers are a great reminder of just how far we've come, and how much the people who've been here through it all have helped shape what Gemini is today.

We wouldn't be where we are without them.

You'd think after working at Gemini for a while, nothing would surprise you anymore...

And then you take a walk through the building.

With the amount of custom projects coming through our doors, there's always something interesting (and occasionally mysterious) happening around here.

We handed the camera over to JoAnna, one of our project managers, to do a little exploring. She found some pretty cool things, plus a few things she couldn't quite explain (a witch's broom?)

Work smarter, not harder.

Our guillotine cutter makes quick work of stacks of matboard, cutting multiple pieces to size in one shot instead of one at a time.

These kinds of behind-the-scenes efficiencies might not seem like a big deal, but they make a BIG difference when you're dealing with volume framing!

(Plus, you have to admit...it's kind of satisfying to watch.)

There's more to our people than what they do from 8 to 4:30.

We grabbed Kari, one of our Senior Account Managers, for a little Q&A. Turns out, there's a lot more to our team than the projects they're working on...like the way to Kari's heart might just be through the dessert table. 😂

We love hearing what makes our people tick outside of work, but it's pretty great hearing what keeps them excited about being here, too.

Some projects come with a little history. This one came with a little turf.

But not just any turf...actual pieces of Boise State's famous blue football field.

We had the opportunity to help create these commemorative memorabilia cards celebrating 40 years of The Blue, combining custom printing with a piece of one of college football's most recognizable playing surfaces.

It's a pretty small keepsake with a pretty big story behind it. And definitely not something we get to make every day!

The most successful businesses aren't necessarily the ones doing the most, but the ones who know what they shouldn't have to worry about.

For artists, galleries and frame shops, that means spending more time finding customers, creating opportunities and growing their businesses and not getting buried in the details of framing.

Of course, that only works when you've got a partner who can deliver.

We've spent years investing in our people, equipment and processes so our clients can spend less time managing us and more time doing what they do best.

That's the kind of relationship we want to build.

A little sawdust, a few power tools and some seriously talented people.

Take a peek inside our carpentry department and watch our team do what they do best. There's always something interesting taking shape, and we're pretty lucky to have the people who know how to build it.

(If only the projects actually came together this quickly though 😂)
