At Latah Creek our stylistic aim is to create wines that taste like the grapes from which they came. This is accomplished by using traditional winemaking principles and by the selection of exceptional fruit.Subjecting the wines to the least amount of processing and handling possible enables these natural varietal flavors to remain intact from grape to bottle. Our major goal is to produce wines with natural balance and complexity, providing a perfect compliment to food and absolute enjoyment by themselves.

One of my favorite things about this collection is getting to explore different grape varietals, w**e regions, and older vintages that are already tasting amazing.

Measuring sugar the old-fashioned way! 🍇🍷

More behind-the-scenes w**emaking for you! Today we're checking the sugar levels in our fermenting grape juice. As yeast eats up the sugar and turns it into alcohol, we keep a close eye on those levels to see how fermentation is progressing.

Every year for our Harvest Celebration, we serve my dad’s Brats & Sauerkraut with potato salad. It’s one of those traditions that just feels like Latah Creek. 🍷

We can’t make and serve our homemade potato salad at the w**ery anymore because of our health department permit, so these days we buy it for the celebration. BUT that doesn’t mean you can’t make Dad’s Warm German Potato Salad at home — and trust me, you should. 😉

Today is the day! 🍇🍷 Our 45th Annual Harvest Celebration is officially underway!

We’re celebrating until 7PM tonight with w**e, food pairings, fermenting juice from this year’s harvest, our new Carménère, and plenty of harvest fun.

Can’t make it today? We’ll be back at it tomorrow from 11AM–5PM!
