Another award winning project for Stillwater Regional Airport and LBR! The recently completed South Apron project won the Oklahoma/Arkansas Chapter ACPA top award for airports! The project was completed by Duit Holdings, Inc. and will serve the flying public and the new Oklahoma State University Flight Center that is being constructed.

This is a time lapse video that shows the 14" of runway pavement being installed on the Ponca City Regional Airport Runway 17-35 Rehabilitation project. It is 20 minutes of real time footage. It is incredible to see the progress being made on such a big project.

LBR just got notice that our projects won the top two awards from the Oklahoma Asphalt Pavement Association for Airports!

The winner was a Stillwater Regional Airport project to Rehabilitate Runway 4-22 that was constructed by Haskell Lemon Construction Co.

The runner-up was a Durant Regional Airport–Eaker Field project to Rehabilitate and Extend Runway 17-35 constructed by Overland Corporation

LBR now has the top two asphalt awards to go along with the top concrete award from this year! It is exciting to get recognition for some great projects. They were successful due to the hard work of the airport and city staff, along with the great work from the contractors.

We might have to change our slogan to "Your Airport is Our (Award Winning!) Business"

Construction has begun on the largest single phase general aviation airport project the state of Oklahoma has ever had. Koss Construction is removing the existing concrete runway and moving dirt. LBR designed the project, and is overseeing the construction. The size of this project is something to behold! It will have a great impact to Ponca City and the surrounding area for decades to come. Vinita Municipal was one of only three Oklahoma Airports to receive supplemental funding in FY-19. This additional funding, appropriated by Congress, paid for 100% of the cost of the runway rehabilitation project ($1,050,000). The existing asphalt portion of the runway was overlaid. Take a look at the before and after photos of the project. The after photos were taken by LBR's Part 107 licensed drone operator. These photos are 4K quality, and really show the dramatic improvement to the airport.

The Durant runway overlay and extension project that LBR designed and oversaw construction!

The $6.7 million project extends the Durant Regional Airport runway by 25 percent to 6,800 feet.

This is an old Oklahoma Aeronautical Chart that hangs in LBR's office. Each blue dot represents an airport we have worked with during our history. At last count it was 68. Oklahoma Airports are our passion. We would love to bring our expertise to your airport.

LBR is in the process of designing some very important projects for Oklahoma Regional Airports. At McAlester Regional, the concrete runway pavement is in need of full depth reconstruction. At Durant Regional, a runway and parallel taxiway extension of 1,800' is in the works. Both projects are being designed this fall and will be constructed in 2018.
