There’s a lot that happens before a bottle ever reaches your table. 🍇

As Akhil told Decanter, “It’s extremely hard to farm and to make a profit.” Making great wine is hard too, but you can’t do it without great fruit. That’s always been the part of our story we’re most proud of.

Our family planted the first vines on the Texas High Plains in 1997. This year, those same wines traveled to London and returned from the Decanter World Wine Awards (Decanter Awards) with three medals, including two Silvers at 90 points.

Nearly 30 years later, we still believe it all starts in the vineyard. And we’re not stopping now. 🍷🤠

Texas wine has a seat at the table, and we’re proud to be part of the conversation at TEXSOM Conference!

Akhil Reddy is in Irving, TX, connecting with sommeliers, growers, educators, producers, and some of the best minds in wine—while supporting fellow Texas growers and winemakers who are advancing our industry.

For a family that has been growing grapes in the Texas High Plains AVA since 1997, it’s very meaningful to see this momentum and Texas wine receiving the recognition it deserves.

Thank you to everyone who stopped to talk about Texas wine, tasted with us, and championed what is thriving right here in our own state. 🤠

Some posts don't need color to tell a story. 🖤🤍

What you're seeing is the result of 29 years of farming the same West Texas soil, combined with one of the most challenging growing seasons we've experienced in nearly a decade. Late frost, lower yields, and a summer that pushed every vine on this estate to its limits.

What emerged? The strongest fruit with the most concentrated clusters. The kind of quality that only shows up when a vintage has something to prove.

The 2026 harvest is underway at Reddy Vineyards. Small in volume, but extraordinary in character.
