Another POLE BARN pad for Amish Barns of Virginia/Four Winds Construction! 🙌

🚜 big & SMALL 🚜
The key to doing cost effective work is having the RIGHT machine for the job!

Often times folks drool over our larger machines (and they are an ENORMOUS asset) but at times jobs call for smaller power! 💪

That is why we recently invested in our first mini skid steer! This comes in handy when we are doing work inside the Barndominium and houses with Amish Barns of Virginia/Four Winds Construction!

Whether your work requires a big, small, or medium sized machine, our unrivaled fleet will provide the absolute best VALUE you can find by having the RIGHT machine for the job!

Our old reliable 267B skid steer is helping dig footings for another great pole barn by Amish Barns of Virginia/Four Winds Construction!

Whether your needs are big or small, we have the RIGHT machine to complete your work with exceptional value!

💧 Pipes 💧
It took 200 yards of dirt and 100+ tons of stone to install this 50’ long concrete pipe across this drainage ditch.

We are hard at work building this crossing and leveling nearly an acre worth of pads for one of the largest builds we have ever done with Amish Barns of Virginia/Four Winds Construction!

🔥Huge commercial project? NO PROBLEM!🔥
We are hard at work on commercial site prep and stormwater management implementation for over 16,000 square feet of buildings!

Our sister company, Amish Barns of Virginia/Four Winds Construction, will start construction in about a week!

No matter how big or small your job is—agriculture or commercial—we have the machinery to get it done with unrivaled quality & value!

⚾️ Batting Cage Site Work ⚾️
We had the honor teaming up with Wind Vineyards at Smith Mountain Lake & Amish Barns of Virginia/Four Winds Construction to provide and install batting cages at Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy!

We hauled in 175 TONS of compatible fill dirt to properly level the cage areas. After grading and compacting, we augered holes and enrolled the help of a few of our Amish folks from our sister construction company to make stall the posts and crossmembers.

If you need clearing, excavation, site work, or anything that requires a big machine (including a batting cage!) let us know!

🐎 AMISH HORSEPOWER 🐎

Amish Barns of Virginia/Four Winds Construction has topped our video of slinging sleds in circles with our excavator!

Check out their employees enjoying a day off being pulled on skid by a horse! 😂 You can’t make this up!

They will be back to work on Monday, so if you need a barn, garage, barndominium, or traditional house built give them a call! 804-238-5544

‼️ WANTED ‼️
🚜 Heavy Equipment Operator 🚜
(This is for our SMITH MOUNTAIN LAKE base location)

We are expanding & searching for a heavy equipment operator for full time (open to part time with a predictable schedule) employment.

Your services will be shared between Wind Vineyards at Smith Mountain Lake, Wind Farms Excavation & Clearing, & Amish Barns of Virginia. Pad prep, excavation, compaction, forestry mulching, clearing, etc. This job provides the most flexibility and variety of any job you can find.

*PAY IS PROPORTIONAL TO THE VALUE YOU ADD TO OUR COMPANIES!*
If you relieve stress, work hard, and are skilled then we will reward you. Feel free to request a fair pay rate, but we fully expect you to be worth it!

Requirements & Preferences:
1) Honesty
-If you are not honest as the day is long, do NOT apply! We will not get along and it will end very poorly for you (references available)

2) Hard Working
-While this job is mostly heavy machinery, there WILL be some miscellaneous work and manual labor, especially if you want a full time position. If you have ever been described as “lazy,” this is not the job for you!

3) Class A CDL & willingness to use it
-We have 3 CDL drivers on our team but cannot offer top dollar if we have to deliver machinery for you to use & pick it up. We have also had employees in the past with a CDL but unwilling to use it—that does us little good.

4) Mechanical Knowledge
-At a minimum must know basic machine maintenance, anything further is a bonus

5) Experience
-we do not expect you to know every machine or be perfect on them but for this position we need someone ready to perform

6) Drug Free/Non-smoker
-Heavy machinery and drugs do not mix and we would strongly preferred a non-smoker

7) Clean & Orderly
-While they are heavy machines and playing dirt, we want someone who takes pride in them, cleans out their trash, sweeps out the floor, and cares for our assets

***TO APPLY…
Please send an email to [email protected] and include:
-CV (if available)
-brief info about yourself and your experience/qualifications
-current place of employment and pay rate
-requested pay rate
-contact information

We look forward to adding you to our team!
