๐ FRIDAY FAMILY SAFETY REMINDER
Maryland parents & caregivers, here's one more thing to add to your August checklist.
With children heading back to school and spending more time around classmates, friends, and caregivers, it's a good time to make sure your family's health records are up to date. ๐
Maryland health officials recently announced measles outbreaks in three Maryland counties and are encouraging families to check their vaccination status.
This isn't about panic.
It's about being informed, prepared, and proactive when it comes to our children. โค๏ธ
๐จโ๐ฉโ๐ง Parents:
โ๏ธ Check your child's immunization records
โ๏ธ Make sure school health requirements are up to date
โ๏ธ Know where your child's records are
โ๏ธ Talk with your healthcare provider if you're unsure about anything
โ๏ธ If you believe your child may have been exposed or develops symptoms, contact your healthcare provider before going to a waiting room or other public setting.
And caregivers, this is important for you too.
A professional nanny isn't just responsible for keeping children entertained. Being attentive to a child's well-being, following family health and safety instructions, and communicating concerns with parents are all part of responsible childcare. ๐
At The Fairy GoddessMother Nannies & Domestics Agency, we believe great childcare begins with safety, communication, and trust.
