Just finished hanging out with some great guys in Georgia and setting up their TimberKing 2020 sawmill. They had some nice rainbow poplar to put up on the mill, to learn how well these TimberKing sawmills operate. This particular 2020 came with the 37hp efi gas engine.

Here’s another TimberKing 2220 sawmill that I just took to Tennessee. I enjoyed spending time with this father and son business and showing them how to operate their new TK mill. Corey is operating his new mill in the short video below…

I’ve ran many sawmills, but these TimberKing fully hydraulic sawmil...

Today’s projects before the rains come rolling in. Deep disking the corn stalks under, fertilizing and then broadcasting in winter wheat. After this, I used my high tech cattle panels with weights to drag the fields and cover the wheat.

I get a way better, heavy stand of wheat doing it like this than what I would drilling it in, and I don’t have to have another piece of machinery sitting around to work on, that only gets used once a year.

The seeder you see on the back of our Gator is made by Fimco and works better than any I’ve ever used. It comes with a nice controller that I mounted inside the cab, and works great for dialing in whatever speed you want for the spreader.

It was great seeing my friend Joel in the Montana mountains…(TKMT), 30 minutes south of Missoula, where I dropped off his customers sawmills yesterday morning. 90’s during the day and woke up to 46 degrees Tuesday am.

Going through South Dakota, especially the Sturgis area during week was very interesting, and entertaining, but coming back through there yesterday evening was even more exciting, due to the weather. This weather was not in the forecast at all, and luckily for me, I was just about 5 minutes east of it, which gave me enough time to stay out of reach of the violent 80+mph destructive winds and hail.

Check out the last photo, showing some of the recorded wind speeds. Some of these were places I was going through. I was headed east and noticed over in the west bound lanes of trailers blown over and lots of motorcycles headed right to it. How would you like to be a biker going into winds like that?

The weather ppl never get it right! I just don’t get it, why they miss stuff as serious as this storm was.

The other thing I don’t get, is why ppl wear their pajamas and house slippers during the day…(out in public), especially at Walmart’s? Never know what you may see on roadtrips. 🤣

After all of the heavy overnight rains, I was forced to trim the low hangers up and down our long lane. Can’t have them rubbing the roof of my black Ram 3500…lol.

Trimming low-hanging branches from our driveway is a task that requires patience and attention to detail. Despite the effort, the end result was rewarding, and I couldn't help but admire the improved look of the lane.

I just finished up setting up and teaching my friend JD and his guys at North Alabama Tree Service and Firewood in Harvest Alabama,
how to operate the TimberKing 6000. In this video we were milling poplar. This is the one I shared in the post before this, with the automated blade l**e system with wiper and guide plates, that I built and installed.

I also took the second one a little further south to Armuchee GA, assembled it and spend time with Harold, his daughter and their friends.

This is a tree service and firewood company that needed a large saw...
