Thank you to Amy Browder of Flying U Ranch for her purchase of IWR Royal Mist 504! We know this deep bodied heifer will do well in your program. She is out of one of our favorite foundation cows, Evening Mist 903 and TKR Royal “T”. This maternal line produces very feminine heifers with full bodies and nice lateral twist horns with gentle dispositions. We will miss her but know she will be well cared for and have a bright future!

Ironwood Ranch was thrilled to host Kelsey and Josh from New South Wales Australia and introducing them to Texas Longhorns. The farm and ranch over 28000 hectares and now are trying to figure out how they might add some longhorns to their herd. We always enjoy visitors and sharing our love for the history and beauty of these animals.

She is one of the last naturally serviced daughters of the late TKR Royal “T” who was racking up the awards before his passing. On the bottom is BCR Firebird who has been a consistent producer including Reina’s older sister, Tabby’s Lucky Charm, who now measures 98”TTT. This heifer is up to date on all vaccinations and unexposed so she is ready for your bull. She measured 31.5” TTT on her 1st birthday. Beautiful color. Correct Confirmation. Gentle personality. Mrs Head Rancher reminded me that I had not provided an update on our little heifer IWR Full of Miracles. I’m happy to say that she fully recovered and is dancing around the pasture with her sibs. Miracle is just beautiful and Dam DC Roxy is resting much easier now that the Head Rancher isn’t always messing with her baby!

So happy to announce that Bob Lee BCR 934 is back at Ironwwod Ranch eating our grass! He has worked well at our partners, Commanders Place Longhorns and Lucky 4 U, these last two years. We continue to be impressed by this Swagger and HR Slam’s Rose son. His pedigree needs no explanation. His mild temperament couple with producing some colorful and well built calves makes him a special one to have around.

Well today was a bit of a rodeo. DC Roxy gave us a beautiful little heifer this morning. Unfortunate she has a contracted tendon on her right rear leg. So we consulted with the vet and made her a splint and gave her some meds and hopefully this will come out all right. She’s a little miracle baby out of Roxy and Full House BCR. Meet IWR Full of Miracles 605!
