Presented by the California Chamber of Commerce, the award recognizes chambers for their advocacy efforts and engagement on behalf of the business community. The California Business Outlook provided valuable insights into California's political landscape, economic trends, artificial intelligence, water reliability, and issues that may shape future ballot initiatives.

The Chamber, in partnership with Los Angeles Valley College, hosted one of the final major forums of the 2026 Los Angeles Mayoral race.

The forum featured one-on-one conversations moderated by Emmy Award-winning journalist Alex Cohen with Mayor Karen Bass and candidates Reverend Rae Huang, Adam Miller, and Councilmember Nithya Raman.

Candidates addressed key issues facing Los Angeles, including homelessness, public safety, affordability, government accountability, the cost of doing business, the gross receipts tax, and preparations for the upcoming Olympic Games.

Thank you to Los Angeles Valley College, Alex Cohen, Cowe Communications, 10th Street Strategies, our volunteers, attendees, and everyone who helped make this important civic conversation possible.
