It was a wonderful experience hearing his disability employment story at Grassroots Advocacy Conference in September. This National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM), we're proud to spotlight Devron and the impact meaningful employment has had on his life.

Through his work on an contract, Devron has gained greater independence, developed valuable job skills, and continues to make a positive impact through his dedication and hard work. His employment has helped build confidence, create opportunities for personal growth, and strengthen his ability to contribute to both his workplace and community.

Recently, Devron took his advocacy beyond the workplace by traveling to Washington, D.C. as part of SourceAmerica Grassroots, where he met with lawmakers and shared the importance of employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities. By sharing his experiences and advocating for inclusive workplaces, Devron helped amplify the message that meaningful employment empowers individuals, strengthens communities, and benefits everyone.

We see Devron's value and talent, and we are proud to support people with disabilities not just during NDEAM, but every month of the year.

ICYMI: The application deadline has been extended to October 23 for individuals interested in submitting an application for SourceAmerica's member-at-large positions on its Board of Directors beginning March 1, 2027. The Technology Automation Enhancement Program grants money to federal contractors within the Program to implement processes and equipment into their workplaces. The new equipment and processes increase productivity and efficiency in manufacturing products, as well as create better experiences for the employees with disabilities. These employees work on AbilityOne contracts throughout the United States, producing essential goods and services for the federal government.
