Yesterday, October 25, around 5 PM, a delivery driver was captured on a homeowner’s Ring camera throwing a package at a cat that was simply hanging out at his own home in the Diamond Springs/Gardenwood neighborhood of Virginia Beach.

The homeowner says reports are being filed with law enforcement regarding the incident.

The delivery driver was reportedly associated with the red car seen in the video and contracted with Amazon to deliver. If you have any information regarding the incident, please message us.

To clarify: The Kellam truck visible in the footage belongs to the homeowner’s husband and is NOT associated with the incident.

🦪 Virginia oysters are making the news.

A multistate Salmonella outbreak has been linked to oysters harvested from Virginia’s Little Wicomico River.

As of October 19, the CDC confirmed 27 illnesses across 12 states, five hospitalizations, and no deaths.

Little Wicomico Oyster Company has recalled oysters harvested September 18–October 8, and Virginia officials have temporarily closed the affected harvesting area.

The oysters were distributed to restaurants and retailers across multiple states, including Virginia.

Important: The recall is limited to oysters from the affected harvesting area, not all Virginia oysters.
