🎒 WELCOME BACK TO SCHOOL! 📚

As students across the region head back to school this week, SafeTec Training Services wishes everyone a safe, successful, and exciting school year! We hope this year brings new opportunities to learn, grow, and discover what the future may hold.

🚑 We’re especially excited to announce a new opportunity for students at Archbishop Ryan High School in Philadelphia!

This fall, SafeTec Training Services will launch an EMT Training Program at Archbishop Ryan High School, beginning September 14, 2026.

The semester-long program will give participating students the opportunity to earn their Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification while still in high school.

For students interested in healthcare, public safety, emergency services, or simply looking for a career where they can make a difference, becoming an EMT can be an incredible first step toward a rewarding and meaningful profession.

🎓 Imagine graduating high school with more than a diploma—with a professional certification and the skills to begin a career helping others.

Students will learn the knowledge and hands-on skills necessary to provide emergency care to patients in some of their most critical moments. For many, EMT certification can serve as the beginning of a career in EMS, fire/rescue, nursing, medicine, or other healthcare professions.

The Archbishop Ryan program will be our inaugural cohort, with additional cohorts anticipated in the future as we continue expanding opportunities for high school students to enter the EMS profession.

We are proud to partner with Archbishop Ryan High School to help introduce students to the rewarding world of emergency medical services and provide them with a pathway toward their future.

We’re proud to share some exciting news!

SafeTec Training Services is honored to be a partner in a groundbreaking, multi-year initiative supporting the Philadelphia Fire Department. In collaboration with DocGo and LaGuardia Community College, this program will create a clear pathway for EMTs to advance to AEMT and for AEMTs to become paramedics.

Training will take place at the Philadelphia Fire Academy and will include a state-approved AEMT program along with nationally accredited paramedic education through CoAEMSP and CAAHEP.

This first-of-its-kind program, launching its inaugural cohort in late spring 2026 represents a major investment in professional development and the future of EMS. It not only creates meaningful career advancement opportunities for PFD members, but also strengthens the level of care provided to the residents and visitors of Philadelphia.

We’re grateful to be part of this collaboration and look forward to helping shape the next generation of EMS professionals. 🚑
