Dear S&T Firewood customers, It has been brought to our attention again that the low lifes are once again out there trying to scam you out of your hard earned money. We had another customer come into the shop trying to verify our existence due to some sketchy phone calls with someone trying to say that they are S&T firewood. Here are some tips to protect yourself.

1. We don't advertise on face book. We don't run adds on facebook marketplace. If you see an add for S&T on marketplace, it's not us.

2. We never ask for payment before delivery, never ever. If paying by credit card over the phone, we might get your information from you, but we will never run the card until after the delivery has been made. If anyone asks for payment before delivery, that's not S&T.

3. We welcome any potential customer to come to the shop, inspect the wood, our operation, meet with me personally, to assure themselves that we are a legit business and that they are comfortable making a purchase from our business. If you don't get a warm fuzzy feeling after meeting with us and you want to take your business elsewhere, that's all good as well.

So just be vigilant when you're doing your research, give me a call to discuss your firewood purchase. If the person your talking to on the phone sounds a little bit fishy to you, its probably a scammer out there trying to rip you off.

We snuck away from our storage shed duties this afternoon to make some bundles and get the self serve shack restocked after a busy 4th of July weekend. Campfire bundles, cooking wood bundles, fire starters and sawdust are all back in stock at the shack.

Face cord of Mixed Hardwoods we delivered to Brookfield last week. This was the customer that alerted us to the facebook scammer, glad we were able to get that straightened out and get you some quality firewood for your backyard bonfires.

Dear S&T Customers,

We had a facebook scammer try to get a potential customer to pay for his firewood before a delivery was done on Monday. Luckily he drove out to the shop to check in because the whole transaction didn't seem right to him and we're glad that he did. We will never ask for payment before delivery. If you do a search for "firewood for sale near me on Facebook Marketplace" be careful. These dirtbags are out there trying to scam you and get you to pay before delivery.
