Apothecary 19 's Edgar Allen Poe collection came! It's helping me get in the spirit of the season! 🎃👻🐦‍⬛🌒

Chocolate: that's it, that's the post. 😂 But seriously, whoever came up with this sweet treat so long ago, thank you for a marvelous invention!

Now excuse me while I go raid the kids' candy bags from some recent trunk or treats. 😋🍫🍬

Reminder this is an anti generative AI account. I don't support or want to work with authors who used genAI in the creation of their manuscripts. I also commit to my clients that I won't use AI when working on their projects. This commitment is included in my contracts to protect us both!

Here are a few of my Galaxycon St. Louis finds! I can't take all the credit, though. My husband found the Fellowship pin. 🥰

Enjoying day 2 at Galaxycon St. Louis with my family! We loved last year's convention and the kids always love dressing up. Hope you've found something fun to do this weekend!

Oh dang, I missed it by a day!

I hope everyone had a good Pythagorean Theorem Day! 🤓🧮

The Pythagorean theorem is a well-known geometric theorem stating that the sum of the squares on the legs of a right triangle equals the square on the hypotenuse.

Although the theorem has long been associated with Greek mathematician-philosopher Pythagoras (c. 570–500/490 BCE), it is actually far older. Four Babylonian tablets from circa 1900–1600 BCE indicate some knowledge of the theorem.

🏚️👻 Welcome to the Author Haunted House, where every room holds a new writing nightmare…(cue spooky music)

Writing a book is scary enough without these monsters lurking around every corner! 👀

The good news? You don't have to face every writing horror alone. Sometimes, a fresh set of eyes can help you find your way out of the haunted halls and get your story ready for readers.

Which room in the Author Haunted House would you be most afraid to enter? What room would you add from your own personal fears? Tell me in the comments! 👇

Can you imagine misunderstanding an author's stance this badly? 😵‍💫

I am a huge Tolkien fan and cannot imagine a reality where he would be a fan of AI. He would more likely be horrified with its use, especially generative AI.

He loved the work behind linguistics, etymology, and imagining the worlds he built.

Truly baffled this person misread the author so badly.

I'd go with if they had it but alas 😄 Keeps me going on those afternoons when life feels hard! What motivates you?

It's National Color Day and what better way to discuss the brand colors I've chosen for my biz?

When I was starting out, I had an idea but nothing substantial. My marketing background allowed me to think deeply about what color theory and emotions might come with the colors I chose, so when I landed on a bold red, charcoal, and a light pink for an accent, it felt like the perfect match!

My editing business branding is pretty bare bones and without fluff, focusing on the words in a way that I hope conveys professionalism and attention to what matters most to my clients.

Here's to colors and all of their glory! 🌈
