A PROJECT THAT MEANS MORE THAN JUST DEMOLITION.
Back in May, I had the opportunity to help a customer with a raze order in the City of Brookfield. They reached out to me after a devastating house fire in February that tragically claimed two lives. They needed help getting the property taken care of as soon as possible.
From that first conversation, I stayed in contact with the customer, the City of Brookfield, and the contractors needed to make this project happen. There were permits to obtain, regulations to follow, and plenty of planning and coordination along the way.
Months went by, but we stayed in communication throughout the entire process. Finally, in early October, we were able to get the job completed.
Projects like this are a reminder that demolition is about more than just tearing down a building. There are people, families, and difficult circumstances behind every job. Sometimes the process takes time, but doing things the right way matters. Proper permitting, following regulations, and making sure everything is handled correctly are all part of the job.
I’m truly grateful that this customer trusted me and Koehn Transport to help them through such a difficult situation. I’m glad we could get this project across the finish line and help them take the next step forward.
At Koehn Transport, we take pride in doing things the right way, keeping our customers informed, and following through on our commitments.
