We loved gathering with our nonprofit partners at the Ogden Nature Center to celebrate the champions and supporters who make each organization's work possible. Thank you for believing in these missions and helping create lasting impact throughout our communities.

Behind every great organization are incredible women balancing work, family, community, and everything in between.

Today we’re celebrating the mothers, grandmothers, mentors, and strong women of Elevate Consulting UT who show up every day for the people they love and the communities they serve.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the women out there making it happen — this is how we roll. 💜

For years, Boys & Girls Club of Northern Utah has listened to our families in Box Elder County.

They told us they needed more than just afterschool programming.
They needed childcare.
They needed mental health and crisis support.
They needed safe spaces for teens.
They needed services that talked to each other instead of operating in silos.

So we built something different.

On March 20, 2026, we celebrate the Box Elder Community Campus — a first-of-its-kind collaborative in Northern Utah that brings youth development, family services, crisis response, recreation, and workforce supports together in one coordinated, whole-family model.

This isn’t just a building.
It’s a response.

It’s what happens when a community says, “We can do better,” and then does.

As JeuneElle shared:

“This campus was designed around the real lives of families. When we strengthen the child and the parent at the same time, we change the trajectory of an entire household — and ultimately, our community.”

Join us for tours, treats, and celebration.

📍 588 E. 700 S., Brigham City
🗓 Friday, March 20, 2026
🕐 1:00 p.m. | Teen Center Ribbon Cutting at 2:00 p.m.

This is what innovative collaboration looks like.
This is what Northern Utah families deserve.

We’re Growing: Experienced Grant Writer (Contractor)

Elevate Consulting UT is expanding our team.

We’re looking for an experienced grant writer to join us as a contractor—someone who loves the strategy behind funding, understands nonprofit capacity, and writes with clarity, precision, and purpose.

Why Work With Elevate?

We believe talented professionals do their best work when they have flexibility and ownership.

This role offers:
• The ability to choose the projects you want to work on
• The freedom to decide where and when you work
• A collaborative, mission-driven team environment
• Opportunities to support impactful nonprofits across Utah and beyond

We don’t believe in cookie-cutter fundraising. We build custom strategies that help organizations grow sustainably and serve their communities with strength.

What We’re Looking For

An ideal candidate:
• Has a proven track record of successful foundation, corporate, and/or government grants
• Thinks strategically about alignment between mission, data, budget, and funder priorities
• Understands nonprofit infrastructure and sustainability
• Writes compelling needs statements backed by strong data
• Communicates clearly with clients and team members
• Manages deadlines and multiple projects with professionalism

Experience working with small to mid-sized nonprofits is a plus. Familiarity with federal or state grants is also valued.

Who We Are

Elevate Consulting UT provides strategic support for lasting impact. Our team partners with community-based organizations to strengthen governance, resource development, sustainability planning, and fundraising systems. We believe strong infrastructure fuels powerful missions.

We build relationships. We build systems. We build sustainability.

If you are an experienced grant writer who values flexibility, collaboration, and meaningful work—we would love to connect.

I spent my morning at the Ogden-Weber Chamber of Commerce sponsored by Bank Of Utah Economic Forecast Breakfast — and it was such a powerful reminder that nonprofits can’t afford to ignore economic trends.

TBH—this topic is far from my area of expertise, however, one takeaways was consumer spending and inflation.

When inflation rises charitable giving is affected. It affects event attendance. It affects sponsorships. Even small shifts in consumer confidence ripple into the nonprofit sector quickly.

At the same time, the cost of delivering services goes up — food, utilities, transportation, insurance. So demand increases while expenses rise and giving patterns shift.

Nonprofits don’t operate outside the economy — we feel it in real time. We meed to shift our spending, our donor expectations, and take a look at how we run our events.

Understanding consumer behavior, interest rates, housing trends, and workforce data helps us plan smarter instead of reacting in crisis mode. It helps us diversify funding, strengthen partnerships, and prepare our organizations for sustainability — not just survival.

Grateful to be in rooms where business and nonprofit leaders are looking ahead together

Strong communities require economic awareness — especially in Northern Utah. 💚g andg

✨ It’s Gala Season ✨

Galas play a critical role in helping nonprofits sustain programs and serve families all year long.

Gala and fundraising event season doesn’t start the night of the event. It starts months earlier — with planning meetings, volunteers, sponsors, auction procurement, and a shared commitment to community impact.

This season, several organizations across Northern Utah are preparing for key events that help sustain their work year-round:

YOUTH IMPACT, INC. provides about 800 hours of programming per child annually at a cost comparable to public education.

💚 Annual Shamrock Gala
📅 March 14, 2026
📍 Ogden Eccles Conference Center

Ogden Valley Adaptive Sports is holding its Adapt2Thrive on March 6 (Brady’Cup Race Day) & 7th (Demo Day and Silent Online Auction). OVA helps individuals with adaptive needs build confidence, independence, and connection through inclusive outdoor recreation.

Utah Neighborhood Connection strengthens communities through junior high afterschool program and its new food pantry. Its 📅 All Aboard Gala will be on Thursday, April 9 at Union Station.

These events may look different, but they share the same purpose:
👉 investing in people, building community, and sustaining mission-driven work.

There’s a role for everyone — serving on a committee, donating an auction item, sponsoring an event, attending, or giving in a way that works for you.

Ways to get involved:
• Join the gala committee
• Sponsor or buy tickets
• Donate a basket or funds
• Businesses: showcase your services through a basket
• Can’t attend? Donate online anytime before the events.

💬 Comment or message me if you’d like to get involved in any of these events
