While "This Weeks' Top 12", is on hiatus for a few...well, weeks, here is the most recent reshuffeling after the Longhorns takedown of the Aggies. Let's get into this...
1. Ohio State
Impressive takedown of their biggest rivals. Now we get to see which team from the Big10 really get the "only undefeated" crown this coming Saturday.
2. Indiana University
It was a very stinky PU team they dominated, but such is the way of rivalry games some seasons.
3. Georgia
The final score wasn't really the best indicator of Dawgs dominance. Many will be rooting for UGA in SEC Championship, but maybe none moreso than Canes Football.
4. Oregon
U-Dub is legit, especially at home. Ducks still miss conference championship, but not the College Football Playoff.
5. Ole Miss
Solid win over in-state rivals, unfortunately somewhat soiled by Lane Kiffin acting like a little kid.
6. Texas Tech
Unsurprisingly won, but wow did they smash the Mountaineers. Favorites to do similar against Cougars of Utah.
7. Texas A&M
Sometimes the mental game is much harder than the physical. Matt Mitchell has been having fun with the delicate nature of A&M's undefeated season for weeks now, and the loss finally came to pass.
8. BYU
Not a great win over UCF, but now they get a chance to put up or shut up against Texas Tech in Big 12 Championship.
9. Oklahoma
Beat LSU, whatever. Now on to the CFP.
10. Notre Dame
Beating Stanford means nothing. Rather have Irish in CFP than most other 2 loss teams and all 3 loss teams.
11. James Madison
Beating Chanticleers of Coastal Carolina wasn't nothing, but then beating Troy in its Sun Belt Conference Championship won't be enough for CFP.
12. North Texas
Expected final win, the Mean Green now prepare for a visit to Tulane, most likely to decide the Group of 5 representative in CFP.
Final thought, if a 5 loss team plays in the Atlantic Coast Conference Championship over a 2 loss team, there is something deeply flawed with their system...
AND THAT'S FACTS!
