The Village of West Salem is seeking a full-time, friendly, organized Administrative Assistant to join our team as our longtime staff member retires.

This position supports Village Administration and Public Works with customer service, clerical work, utility billing assistance, permits, records, and general office operations.

An ideal candidate enjoys working with the public; is detail-oriented and comfortable with computers; can stay organized in a busy office; and communicate clearly and professionally.

Starting wage is between $20 and $23 per hour, depending upon qualifications and experience and includes excellent benefits.
