It’s been a long while since we shared anything new. And since I have all these wonderful photos from it seems like a good time to reintroduce myself/Songbird.

Pictured with me in most of these pix (in addition to my beautiful sons and co-owner husband) is my mama.
Hard to believe 20 years ago she suffered a motorcycle accident that literally prompted my very first “downsizing” move. A few years after the incident Luke and I needed to relocate my parents to a single story home to accommodate mobility issues. It was our first glimpse at the emotionally daunting process of dispersing many beloved sentimental things.
Before that, I was earning my MFA in Dance at Arizona State. And, before that I was working for baseball with a short stint on Fox Sports Network coaches shows while at … I likely had a way better blooper reel than actual useable interview footage, but I digress. 🤣 (if you see me around town you should ask about the time I introduced myself as a coach and the coach as the reporter 👍🏻🤪🤪) Now I really digressed.
Anyhoo… if you’re still reading this… you’re amazing, thank you. If you’re new here, welcome! We also send out newsletters once every blue moon and you should totally join us… we just sent out a love letter last month celebrating our 10… TEN year anniversary! But I’ll absolutely try to remember to reconnect about that soon. … we’re nearly at a novel now.
