I'm happy to report that this recipe containers no "sea" creatures. I'm actually unclear why its called " under the sea" salad, as my interpretation of sea water has always been "blue" or at best, "azure". What ever the reason, it looks pretty good.

RIP Gloria Steinem age 92
Gloria was a voice for women's right at a time when many women had no voice.

Gloria Steinem viewed the role of the homemaker as real, valuable labor that has historically been devalued, unpaid, or poorly compensated just because it was performed by women. Gloria argued that work inside the home is genuine labor and should be recognized, visible, and properly valued.

She maintained that feminism is about having the freedom to choose what you are meant to do, whether that is pursuing a career outside the home or raising a family. Gloria strongly advocated that domestic work and child-rearing should not fall solely on women, encouraging men to take an active, equal role in raising children and managing the home.

Steinem's views were deeply shaped by her own mother, Ruth, a former journalist who gave up her career to become a homemaker, a transition that heavily impacted her mental health and led Steinem to reflect on the societal pressures placed on women to sacrifice their own ambitions. Gloria dedicated her entire life to a shift in tone around a women's value.

Her legacy will live on. ❤️
