I have never been so sick in my life. I was hallucinating. My body was burning up while I shook and shivered and moaned uncontrollably. My body was constantly locking up... physically unable to move or speak at times. I spent eight consecutive days in bed. And that's the pretty version.
The same week I had a huge speaking engagement for The Virgina Government Procurement Fall Conference, and our biggest Crystel Clear Business Strategies, LLC event is the year, the CCBS Business Summit, and a speaking engagement as well as nominated for an award at the Luxe & Legacy Awards Gala.
All of which I was unable to attend.
While my heart was absolutely broken, it was also over flowing.
The love, prayers, and support that happened over this week was truly remarkable!
Darlene Murphy and Mario Wisdom jumped in, drove to Staunton and delivered the presentation at the conference! This was no small gesture. They recieved the material and activities less than 12 hours before the event!
My daughter Stephanie Combs
printed and prepared all of the handouts for all of the events. Again, no small gesture. Hours of work.
My fiance Chris Baker made sure I stayed hydrated and as comfortable as I could be, giving me continuous medication, bringing me water, electrolytes, and anything else I asked for. Apparently he also tried to get me to go to the hospital on several occasions and I continuously refused. He says I'm hard headed... maybe. He is definitely patient, loving, gentle, caring, and above all served!
He also along with Mario and Lisa Leicht Adams stepped up to ensure the CCBS Business Summit went on!
Again with less than 12 hours notice Mario recieved the presentation and materials, Chris drove to the event space, delivered everything, and helped set everything up with Lisa. Lisa helped with set up and took photos and videos. And Mario was able to deliver and run the entire event! Remarkable.

Dorothy Williams , Vanessa Martin , Lisa Lowery , Victoria Smith-Twyne , Doran Richards, Michele Bouve Hoffman , Jennifer Gray Osbourn, Marcia Hartle Davis, Morgan Lee Beachler Amy Conover continuously checked in on me, offered any help, and prayed feverishly for me.
Chris, Mario, my dad and my family also prayed.
It took a village. I'm struggling to find the words to express how grateful I am to the Lord for my healing and for this village of remarkable people who I'm so blessed to be surrounded with!
Thank you all for your help, support, love, and prayers!
I am truly blessed beyond measure!

He has no idea that I'm posting this. We were walking in downtown Wi******er talking shop he got a call from one of his employees and still immediately noticed one of his clients vehicles parked and without missing a beat he said hey can you snap a picture of me so I can send it to them.

He didn't want to take a picture for marketing. He didn't want to take a picture to post on social media. He just wanted to snap a picture to send to his client to show his support for them.
