We are getting a lot of questions lately on which AI model is “best.” But that answer will keep changing.

For businesses, the more important questions are:

Does it work with the tools and data your employees already use?
Can it be properly secured and managed?
Will it solve a real business problem?

The model will change but your AI foundation needs to last.

“Can we just use Copilot for that?”

A sentence being heard in conference rooms everywhere right now.

And sometimes, the answer is absolutely.

But before Copilot becomes part of how your team works every day, there are a few questions worth asking:

1. What company data can Copilot actually access?
If an employee already has access to information they shouldn’t, Copilot can make that information much easier to find.

2. Do we have the right permissions and security controls in place?
Copilot works within your Microsoft 365 environment. That makes your existing data governance even more important.

3. Do employees know what they should—and shouldn't—use Copilot for?
Giving people the tool is the easy part. Giving them clear guidelines for using it is just as important.

Copilot can be incredibly useful - just make sure your Microsoft 365 environment is ready for it first.

That Microsoft Teams call from “IT” might not actually be IT.

Attackers are using Teams chats and calls to impersonate IT support, convince employees to grant remote access, and ultimately deploy ransomware.

It’s a good reminder that phishing isn’t just happening in your inbox anymore.

Before granting access or following an unexpected IT request: stop, verify, then act.

Before you ask, "How can we use AI?" ask:

Is this process clearly defined?
Does everyone follow the same steps?
Are we solving the right problem?
